Rep. Tim Walberg, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th district, recently shared his views on education reform through a series of tweets. Walberg has been a member of Congress since 2011 and previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.

In a subsequent tweet on November 20, 2024, he elaborated on his vision for educational reform by stating "Together, we will overhaul the Department of Education to better serve students and uphold the rights of parents. Additionally, on November 20, 2024, Rep. Walberg endorsed Linda McMahon for Secretary of Education by highlighting her past achievements: "Linda McMahon has a proven record of delivering results. She was an excellent SBA Administrator, and I have no doubt she will make an excellent Secretary of Education."
