City of Hillsdale issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.
The BPU is experiencing staffing issues due to the current Covid pandemic. There may be delays in payment processing and also managing incoming calls. Please be patient and be assured that we are doing all we can to serve you in a timely and professional manner. Operations crews are working hard to keep the lights on and the water and sewer flowing. If there is an electric outage or a water or sewer emergency please call the office at 437-3387 and follow the correct prompts to report. This will activate our outage management system and send notification to the proper departments. I want to thank you in advance for your cooperation during this challenging time.
