Census Bureau: More women than men in Reading in 2019

Of the 998 people living in Reading in 2019, 51.7 percent (516) were women and 48.3 percent (482) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Michigan News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 315-to-276. In the 65 and over age range, there were 82 females and 45 males.
