Rep. Tim Walberg, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th district, shared several updates through his social media account recently. His posts addressed both personal and political matters, reflecting on community contributions and expressing views on national policies.

On November 23, Rep. Walberg expressed his admiration for a local broadcaster's career achievements. He stated: "Honored to surprise @GOC970 on the last day of his remarkable broadcasting career and present a congressional tribute." The congressman acknowledged Greg's significant role in Jackson over the past four decades.

In a post dated November 25, Rep. Walberg commented on the rising costs associated with Thanksgiving dinner this year. He attributed this increase to current administration policies by stating: "Thanksgiving dinner will cost 20% more this year than it did in 2021, thanks to the policies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, which have fueled inflation." He also mentioned upcoming changes anticipated for January 20th.

Later that same day, he reflected on recent historical events by saying: "This concludes a very perilous period in our history." He called for moving forward from what he described as "weaponization and lawfare."
