On March 22, 2025, Rep. Walberg announced that his office is accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. He invited high school students from Michigan’s 5th District to submit their artwork for an opportunity to have it displayed in the Cannon tunnel leading to the U.S. Capitol.
In a tweet dated March 25, 2025, Walberg recognized National Medal of Honor Day. He paid tribute to those who have "bravely went above and beyond the call of duty," expressing gratitude for their courage and heroism.
Later on March 25, 2025, he highlighted the Great Lakes Mass Marking Program Act. According to Walberg, this act will ensure accurate data collection necessary for better protection of the Great Lakes ecosystem and its fisheries.
