Black students score 846 on average on the SAT in Jackson Public Schools (2017-2018)

Black students scored 846 on average in Jackson Public Schools in the 2017-2018 academic year on the SAT exam, a worse result than the overall average for all students in the district, according to the Michigan Department of Education's 2018 Michigan Merit Examination (MME) reports.

Statewide, black students scored 861.8 on average in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MME's primary purpose is to provide a snapshot of end-of-year student learning across the state.
