Two prepaid funeral provider licenses were issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) in Jackson County during March, an increase over the previous month, according to data provided by the department.

No prepaid funeral provider licenses were issued in Jackson County during February.

LARA is composed of several agencies, bureaus and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation.
