36 percent of applicants to Hillsdale College were admitted for fall 2018

At Hillsdale College, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hillsdale enrolled 1,521 students in fall 2018, including 1,468 in undergraduate and 53 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

25 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 73 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The school admitted 36 percent of the 2,209 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 43 percent enrolled.
