71 percent of applicants to Spring Arbor University were admitted for fall 2018

At Spring Arbor University, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Spring Arbor enrolled 3,436 students in fall 2018, including 1,807 in undergraduate and 1,629 in graduate programs, data shows. 14.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 20 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 71 percent of the 1,173 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
