Of the 20,550 people living in Adrian in 2020, 53.2 percent (10,937) were women and 46.8 percent (9,613) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Michigan News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 129. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,308 females and 1,386 males.
