City of St. Clair Shores issued the following announcement on April 2
As many of you already know by executive order of the State of Michigan the golf course must be closed until further notice. Anybody who enters the golf course will be subject to fine.
We want to be open as much as you want to golf! But for numerous reasons it is important that we follow this order.
1. The health and safety of you and our employees.
2. As a business we are subject to fine and license suspension if it is deemed we are not enforcing the order.
3. The conditions of the grounds must be preserved as we do not have the staff to fix ball marks and divots. It should not only be important to us but to you as a user of the facility that when this is all over we return to a golf course that is in the best shape as possible for the golf season.
In the mean time sharpen up on your skills with these drills you can try at home. We miss you and hope to see you soon!
