Adrian College Athletics issued the following announcement on June 5
he National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced the 2020 Academic Honor Roll, and the Adrian College Acrobatics and Tumbling team placed 13 student-athletes on the list.
The 13 honorees is the highest total of any NCAA Division III member of the NCATA. It is also a six student-athlete increase over last year for the Bulldogs making it a record for the team.
To be named to the NCATA Honor Roll a student-athlete must be active on an Acrobatics and Tumbling team and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
Haylee McCoy (Allen Park, Mich. / Annapolis) was the lone graduate student or senior to make the honor roll for Adrian.
Two juniors and sophomores made took home the honor. Jeannette Oubre (East Aurora, N.Y. / East Aurora) and Olivia Stachecki (Trenton, Mich. / Trenton) were the junior members of the team that joined sophomores Meghan Abbee (Hanover, Mich. / Hanover Horton) and Bri Eldredge (Allen Park, Mich. / Riverview Community) on the honor roll.
The rest of the honorees were freshmen, including Hailey Brower (Grandville, Mich. / Grandville), Lexi Harris (Grass Lake, Mich. / Grass Lake), Jayme Hein (Metamora, Mich. / Almont), Jessica Philpot (Gambrills, Md. / Arundel), Alex Turi (Wickliffe, Ohio / Hawken), CJ Wade (Troy, Mich. / Troy Athens), Chloe Walsh (Chestfield, Mich. / International Academy of Macomb) and Lizzie Wirth (Ida, Mich. / Ida).
