ADRIAN DISTRICT LIBRARY CELEBRATES THE END OF ITS SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

Adrian Public Schools issued the following announcement on Aug 3.

The 2021 Summer Reading Challenge at the Adrian District Library concludes with a drop-in finale for the entire family in Library Square on Monday, August 9.

Everyone who participated in the “Tails & Tales” Reading Challenge are invited to stop by anytime between 2:00 and 3:30 pm for an ice cream treat, games, music, and other outdoor activities. Prize winners for the children, teens, and adult Reading Challenges will be revealed. 

Registration is not required to attend. In the case of inclement weather, the finale will be held in the library’s Community Room.

The library’s Summer Reading Challenge officially ends Saturday, August 7. All reading must be logged by the end of the day on Sunday, August 8, in order to be counted for the prize drawings. 

One entry is earned for every seven days of reading.  Summer Reading prizes earned, including books and treasure box items, should be redeemed by Monday, August 9.
