Addison Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
The Addison Wrestling Club is putting on a “Can Dump” fundraiser to earn money for youth wrestling singlets and HS warm-ups for this upcoming season. The Can Dump is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd from 9:00-11:30am during the home Addison Pancake Tailgate in the parking lot before the varsity football game.
In the event, the game is on the Friday night (Oct 22nd) the Can Dump will be moved to Friday night from 4:30-6:30pm during the tailgate. We will know and confirm the day after this Friday night. When bringing in the cans, please have them in bags and if possible, please separate cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles into their own bags.
If you cannot make the Can Dump time, but have cans you would like to donate, contact Coach Schneider on setting up an alternate time to dump your cans.
