Addison Community Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 16.
Addison Community Schools continues to experience positive COVID-19 cases of both students and staff. The health department has reported a surge in cases specifically within Manitou Beach and Addison. The health and safety of our district continues to be a top priority.
In correspondence with Lenawee Health Department it is in the best interest of both staff and students to remain virtual through Thanksgiving break. Staff and students will return on Monday, November 29.
A bus will be provided from school to Tech Center. Meals will be distributed on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00.
Athletic teams will continue with tryouts and practices, but athletes will be required to be tested two days a week.
