Camden-Frontier School issued the following announcement on Feb 25.
We are excited to kick-off March is Reading Month this week! We have a fun-filled month with awesome reading-based activities and exciting events planned including contests, guest readers and more! The goal is to promote reading by our students - reading for fun, reading for information, reading of any kind. Help us use this month to make reading the important activity it should be in each of our students' daily lives.
Your child’s classroom teacher will be setting a reading goal for students during the month of March. Gold, silver, and bronze medal readers from each classroom will earn exciting prizes. The winners will be announced after spring break.
We also have daily activities planned for home so our students are hearing the same encouragement about reading in the evening and on weekends.

As your child completes each daily reading activity, please initial inside that date box. Completed calendars should be turned in to your child’s teacher on March 31. Students who complete activity calendars will receive their prize when we return from Spring Break.
There is also a dress-up calendar with dress-up ideas for each day of March. Your child is encouraged to participate as much as he/she wishes to. Please remember that all dress-up items need to be school appropriate. There will be several random dress-up days on which students can win prizes for being the best dressed!

Reading in the home is one of the best ways your child can improve all of his/her academic skills - as the reader or listener. Please be an enthusiastic partner with us to promote reading throughout the month of March and beyond!
