Remember, curbside brush collection begins next week. This service is for residential properties within City Limits only. Brush must be hauled to the curb prior to 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, or it will not be collected. Do not place brush in the streets or alleyways. Only tree limbs less than eight feet (8’) in length and up to eight inches (8”) in diameter will be collected. No stumps, large trunks, stones or dirt. Please do not pile brush within two feet (2’) of fixed objects including street signs, utility poles, fire hydrants, and water shut-off valves. The City’s Brush Site on Waterworks Avenue will remain open through November 15 for residents to drop off brush if they miss the deadline for next week’s curbside collection. Hours are M-F 7AM-12PM & 1PM-3PM, closed Saturday & Sunday. No dumping permitted after hours.
