Ribbon cutting event planned at MLK Center for new partnership with Jackson College

The City of Jackson's community education partnership with Jackson College will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting event at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. The event unveils and officially opens the college's community education location at the MLK Center.  It is taking place at the front entrance of the center, which is located at 1107 Adrian St. All residents are welcome to attend.

Jackson College offered courses at the center this past fall, which increased access to college education for City residents. The ribbon cutting event will highlight this success and look toward future plans at the center.
