On May 11, 2025, Rep. Walberg extended warm wishes to mothers in his district by tweeting "Happy Mother’s Day to all the terrific moms in Michigan’s 5th District! Thank you for everything you do." This message reflects his appreciation for the contributions of mothers within his community.

The following day, May 12, 2025, he shared significant news regarding international affairs. He announced that "After 18 months of being held hostage by Hamas, Edan Alexander has finally been released. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing Edan home!" This tweet highlights a moment of relief and gratitude towards those who facilitated Alexander's release.

Later on the same day, Walberg addressed national security issues related to immigration policies under the current administration. Tim Walberg was born in Chicago in 1951 and now resides in Tipton. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Taylor University and previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.
