Rep. Tim Walberg, U.S. Congressman representing Michigan’s 5th district since 2011, posted a series of messages on September 16, 2025, highlighting legislative achievements and recognizing key sectors in the state and nation.
In his first post of the day, Walberg stated: "The Working Families Tax Cuts delivered the single largest investment in rural healthcare in U.S. history." (September 16, 2025).
Later that afternoon, he acknowledged those working in logistics by writing: "Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! Thank you to all our hardworking truckers who support our nation’s supply chain and keep America moving!" (September 16, 2025).
In his final message of the day, Walberg addressed energy policy and infrastructure for Michigan and beyond: "We must remain laser-focused on strengthening the energy capacity of Michigan and the nation.

Tim Walberg has served as a member of Congress since replacing Mark Schauer in 2011. He previously served from 1983 to 1999 in the Michigan House of Representatives. Born in Chicago in 1951 and currently residing in Tipton, Walberg holds a BA from Taylor University.
