Jackson residents have the opportunity to contribute to the Toys for Tots program by dropping off toy donations at the Jackson Police Department headquarters, located at 216 E. Washington Avenue. The department has been designated as a collection site for this year’s holiday toy drive.

Toys for Tots is organized each year by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and aims to collect toys for children in need during the holiday season. According to the Jackson Police Department, community members can place their donations in a designated box located in the lobby of police headquarters. The lobby is open from Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will accept donations until Monday, December 15.

Donations must be new and unwrapped toys suitable for children aged 0-15 years old. After collection, Toys for Tots will distribute the donated items to various non-profit organizations throughout Jackson County, ensuring they reach local children in need.
