The Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, led by Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-PA), has rescheduled its hearing on E-Verify, a system used to confirm employment eligibility in the United States. The hearing, titled “E-Verify: Ensuring Lawful Employment in America,” will now take place at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
This event was initially set for Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The hearing will be open to the press and available for live viewing through the Committee’s YouTube channel.
