City of St. Clair Shores issued the following announcement on Sept. 12
I was contacted today by Florence Cement informing me that they will be mobilizing either this Friday but no later than Monday (weather depending) to begin the reconstruction of Martin Road from Rockwood to I-94. The road will be closed and reconstructed full width. The contractor will remove the pavement and place the stone base simultaneously so emergency can still access Martin if needed.
