City of Jackson issued the following announcement on Oct.2.
Road construction continues on Greenwood Ave. between Morrell St. and Austin Blair Park. As you can see, crews have made a lot of progress in removing several feet of pavement and old brick paving. Right now the focus is below the surface as crews complete work on new water mains. After that, they will turn to above ground work like curbs and paving. This project is expected to wrap up in mid-November.
