City of Adrian issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
The City of Adrian Engineering Department is accepting applications for the position of Project Manager. This position is responsible for performing engineering and project management for street, parking lot, and drainage system construction projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Site plan review and evaluation of construction projects
• Preparing project cost estimates
• Oversight of consultants and contractors
• Designing storm sewer and roadway modifications
• Drawing construction plans
• Writing construction specifications
• Conducting public competitive bid process for the selection of contractors
• Construction layout and staking, and other field survey related functions
Qualifications:
• An Associate’s Degree or equivalent with course work in engineering or related field and relevant job experience is required. A Bachelor's Degree in engineering and a Professional Engineer license are preferred, however, not required.
• Five years of related experience in project management and oversight.
• Applicants shall be proficient in AutoCad.
• Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license.
Salary range $52,602 – $65,988
