Crews from the Department of Public Works are currently working with two leaf vacuum trailers to collect loose leaves placed curbside. Two leaf vacuum trucks are set to join the DPW fleet in spring 2020. Name graphics will be placed on the equipment for all to see. Naming the equipment will help crews better identify and dispatch the equipment, and assist administration with tracking. The City also believes the names will bring community awareness to the new leaf collection program and hopefully foster a personal connection with this important City service.
