City of Jackson issued the following announcement on April 24.
Due to changes made to the Governor’s Stay Home, Stay Safe order, the City of Jackson has decided to re-open the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course to golfers on Monday, April 27.
No golf carts will be available to prevent the spread of COVID-19, so golfers can expect to walk the course.
We still advise golfers to maintain safe social distancing.
Questions about the reopening should be directed to the golf course office at 517-788-4066.
All other City of Jackson recreation facilities remain closed until further notice.
