City of Jackson issued the following announcement on May 6.
In-person meetings of the City of Jackson’s boards and commission have been suspended for nearly two months.
Some boards and commissions are starting to continue their work by conducting virtual meetings online.
Three virtual meetings are already schedule for May.
-The Parks and Recreation Commission on Wednesday, May 6.
-The Planning Commission on Wednesday, May 6.
-The Downtown Development Authority Board on Thursday, May 14.

Virtual City Council meetings have been taking place since March.
