Romence Road Project

Beginning Friday, July 15 at 8 AM, Romence Road from Angling Road to Oakland Drive will be closed to westbound traffic only to allow for milling and paving operations.  The detour route for westbound traffic is Oakland Drive north to East Milham Avenue, west to Angling Road, and south to Romence Road.  Eastbound traffic is planned to be maintained at all times; however, there will be intermittent flagging operations.  It is anticipated that milling and paving operations will be completed by July 29, at which time two-way traffic will be restored.

Updates regarding the Romence Road, Angling Road to Oakland Drive project can be found at portagemi.gov/295/Construction-Projects or by subscribing to the Road Construction Updates Notify Me category at portagemi.gov/lists.aspx.

Questions may be directed to the Department of Transportation & Utilities at (269) 329-4422.
