On February 5, 2025, Rep. Walberg marked National Girls and Women in Sports Day by celebrating the achievements of women in sports. He expressed gratitude towards those advocating for the future of women's sports and emphasized the importance of maintaining fair and safe competition. "On this #NationalGirlsandWomeninSportsDay, we celebrate women’s achievements on the track, field, and court and thank those who are using their voice to stand up for the future of their sports. We must continue to defend fair and safe competition."

Later that day, Rep. Walberg attended an event where former President Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at protecting women and girls in sports. In his tweet about the event, he reiterated the necessity of safeguarding opportunities for female athletes to compete safely and fairly. "It was an honor to witness @realDonaldTrump sign an executive order to protect women and girls in sports. We must safeguard opportunities for female athletes to compete safely and fairly."

The following day, on February 6, 2025, Rep. Walberg affirmed his support for advancing practical solutions through his party's initiatives in Congress. ".@HouseGOP will continue to advance commonsense solutions."
