On March 11, 2025, Rep. Walberg expressed his advocacy for expanding school choice to ensure equitable access to quality education for all children irrespective of their income or location. He stated: "We must expand school choice so that every child - regardless of income and zip code - can receive the quality education that best suits his or her needs. Our children are counting on us."

Later the same day, Rep. Walberg highlighted a legislative move by the House GOP to maintain government operations while supporting former President Trump's policies.
