Rep. Tim Walberg, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th district, has recently shared his perspectives on various national issues through a series of tweets. His posts cover topics such as agriculture policy changes, border security measures, and legislative efforts regarding electric vehicle mandates.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. Walberg expressed approval of the Trump administration's decision to revise an environmental regulation established during President Biden's tenure. "Agriculture is an integral part of our economy. I am glad to see the Trump administration’s recent announcement that the EPA will revise the onerous Biden-era WOTUS rule which placed unfair burdens on small businesses, manufacturers, and farmers."

In a tweet dated March 13, 2025, he commended former President Donald Trump's actions related to immigration enforcement. "As soon as @realDonaldTrump took office, he took action to enforce the rule of law and secure our border. As a result, border encounters are down 94% compared to last year."

Furthering his legislative initiatives on March 14, 2025, Rep. Walberg announced new legislation aimed at preventing future electric vehicle mandates alongside Rep. Russ Fulcher. "EV mandates are unattainable, unaffordable, and unrealistic. Today, with @RepRussFulcher," he stated in his post while introducing "the CARS Act to ensure innovation and consumer choice continue to lead the way for the automotive industry."
