Rep. Tim Walberg, a longstanding representative of Michigan's 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared insights on various topics through his social media posts. Walberg has been serving since 2011 and previously held office in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.

On March 17, 2025, Rep. Walberg expressed his views regarding consumer choice and innovation in the auto industry. He mentioned his recent appearance with Chris Renwick on WJR to discuss the introduction of his CARS Act. According to Walberg, "Washington should never restrict consumers and innovators in the auto industry with EV mandates." "It was great to join @ChrisRenwickWJR recently to discuss the introduction of my CARS Act, which will uphold consumer choice and support America’s auto industry."

The following day, March 18, he recognized National Agriculture Day by expressing gratitude towards Michigan's agricultural community. He acknowledged their significant role in sustaining the nation by stating: "Today, as we celebrate #NationalAgricultureDay, we thank Michigan’s hardworking farmers and producers for the work they do to feed and fuel our nation."

Later that day, Rep. Walberg shared his experience visiting Columbia Central High School for a FIRST Robotics competition. He praised the students' creativity and leadership skills: "I enjoyed visiting the students competing in the FIRST Robotics competition at Columbia Central High School this weekend. It was great to see the ingenuity displayed by the next generation of leaders in our community."
