Rep. Tim Walberg, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th district since 2011, shared a series of posts recently discussing various subjects ranging from holiday greetings to industry and economic policies. Walberg, who turned 72 this year, has been an influential figure in Michigan politics, having previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.

On April 20, 2025, Walberg extended holiday wishes to his constituents with a short note stating, "Happy Easter! May today be a most blessed time for you and your family."

On April 21, 2025, Walberg expressed his condolences over a significant global event with a solemn remark on the passing of a religious leader, "I am saddened to hear of the passing of Pope Francis. My prayers are with all those who are in mourning. May he rest in God's eternal peace."

Later the same day, Walberg shared insights from a business tour he undertook in Mendon. He conveyed the importance of a supportive tax environment for American manufacturers. In his words, "I was able to tour Manchester Industries in Mendon and discuss with them the importance of a competitive tax code that incentivizes American manufacturing. Michigan's economy is powered by our manufacturing base, and we must advance pro-growth policies which allow them to thrive."

Tim Walberg, originally from Chicago, Illinois, graduated with a BA from Taylor University and resides in Tipton.
