Walberg highlights achievements under the administration after 100 days

Tim Walberg, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th District, has utilized his Twitter platform to discuss the achievements and challenges currently facing the United States under its leadership. Walberg, who has been serving since 2011 after replacing Mark Schauer, shares insights about the legislative and policy accomplishments over the initial 100 days of the presidency.

On April 28, 2025, Walberg highlighted the President's accomplishments via Twitter. In a post, he asserted, "Over the past 100 days, @POTUS has delivered on the mandate given to him by the American people to put America first and renew the American Dream." He also invited his followers to read more in his recent op-ed.

In a subsequent post on the same day, Walberg expressed his approval of the House of Representatives' passage of the FUTURE Networks Act. He noted that this bipartisan legislation, which he introduced alongside representatives Doris Matsui and Rick Allen, aims to ensure that the United States maintains its leading role in innovation amidst global competition. Walberg tweeted, "I’m pleased to see the House pass the FUTURE Networks Act, which I introduced with @DorisMatsui and @RepRickAllen."

The following day, on April 29, Walberg reiterated the current administration’s efforts to strengthen national security and bolster domestic energy policy. In his tweet he stated, "100 days in, @POTUS has secured our borders, restored American energy independence, and is leveling the playing field for American workers." This statement underlined his stance that the administration has fulfilled significant campaign promises.

Walberg was born in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, and now resides in Tipton. He graduated from Taylor University and has a rich history of public service, including a prior stint in the Michigan House of Representatives.
