In a tweet posted on April 29, 2025, Walberg emphasized the importance of Selfridge Air National Guard Base, stating "Selfridge Air National Guard Base plays a crucial role in enhancing our national security and safeguarding our interests due to its strategic location. Thank you @POTUS for listening to the bipartisan consensus and putting Michiganders first by providing Selfridge with a new". This statement accentuates Selfridge's critical role in national security and appreciates the President’s efforts to prioritize the base.

Later that day, Walberg addressed fiscal concerns, tweeting on April 29, 2025, that "We are on a fiscally unsustainable path and must deliver on the promise of economic mobility to our students and families. @EdWorkforceCmte just advanced the Student Success and Taxpayer Savings Plan which will put more than $330 billion back in taxpayers' pockets while improving". This highlights his focus on economic policies aimed at fostering economic mobility and financial prudence.

On April 30, 2025, Walberg discussed the future of the automotive industry, stating "As a Michigander, I understand how we must allow innovation - and not a blanket mandate - to lead the way to our automotive future. Tim Walberg has been a figure in public service for decades, with a career that includes notable legislative experience and educational qualifications from Taylor University. Born in Chicago in 1951, Walberg now resides in Tipton.
