Representative Tim Walberg, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th District since 2011, shared a series of messages on social media highlighting his ongoing engagement with both national and local issues. Born in Chicago in 1951, Walberg has been an active political figure since his time in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.

On May 17, 2025, Rep. Walberg expressed gratitude towards members of the United States Armed Forces. Today and every day, we are grateful for their service."

In a tweet posted on May 19, 2025, Walberg conveyed his sympathies regarding President Biden’s health situation. "Sue and I are saddened to hear of President Biden’s cancer diagnosis. We will be praying for him and his family during this difficult time."

Later that same day, Rep. Walberg reflected on a visit to a local business as part of his commitment to support small enterprises through favorable policies like extending tax cuts. "It was great to tour Buck and Knobby which was founded in 1948 in Ottawa Lake and offers equipment for everything from general construction to do it yourself projects. I’ll continue to support policies like permanently extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that empower small"

Tim Walberg continues to reside in Tipton with a background education from Taylor University where he earned a BA.
