Representative Tim Walberg, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th district, shared his thoughts and activities on social media recently. Walberg, who has been a member of Congress since 2011 after succeeding Mark Schauer, expressed reflections on historical events, legislative updates, and personal interests.

On June 6, 2025, Walberg commemorated the anniversary of a pivotal moment in history. "On the 81st anniversary of D-Day, we remember the brave American and allied troops who stormed the beaches at Normandy. May we always honor their heroism in defense of liberty and freedom."

Later that day, he provided an update on legislative actions taken by his party. On June 6, 2025, he stated: "This week, @HouseGOP passed multiple bills to codify President Trump’s executive orders and ensure that small businesses can continue to thrive including: American Entrepreneurs First Act Save SBA from Sanctuary Cities Act Capping Excessive Awarding of SBLC Entrants Act"

The following day, June 7, 2025, Walberg highlighted recreational opportunities in his region while promoting an outdoor activity event. "From Lake Michigan to Lake Erie, the Great Lakes offer many great fishing and recreational opportunities. During this National Fishing and Boating Week, I encourage everyone to get out on the water and cast a line! As an avid outdoorsman and a member of @NatResources Committee,"

Tim Walberg was born in Chicago in 1951 and resides in Tipton. He holds a BA from Taylor University.
