Rep. Tim Walberg, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th District since 2011, shared a series of tweets regarding "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act." The proposed legislation aligns with former President Trump's "America First" agenda.

On July 8, 2025, Rep. Walberg tweeted that "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act solidifies President Trump’s America First agenda by preserving the Trump tax cuts, securing our borders, unleashing American energy dominance, and eliminating wasteful spending."

In another tweet on the same day, he mentioned the financial benefits for workers under the bill's provisions. He stated that "The One Big Beautiful Bill’s No Tax on Tips provision will allow Liz and other workers in Michigan to pocket more of their hard-earned money."

Continuing his advocacy for border security measures, Rep. Walberg posted on July 9, 2025: "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act will ensure that our borders remain secure by making the largest border security investment in history." The legislation aims to fund border wall construction and enable immigration enforcement agencies to hire additional personnel.

Tim Walberg was born in Chicago in 1951 and currently resides in Tipton. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Taylor University.
