Rep. Tim Walberg, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th district since 2011, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative developments and comment on campus antisemitism.

On July 15, 2025, Walberg posted about new legislation tied to former President Donald Trump’s executive actions: "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act codifies 28 of President @realDonaldTrump’s executive orders to get our country back on track."

A day later, on July 16, he expressed support for a bipartisan technology initiative: "I’m pleased to see the House pass the Promoting U.S. Wireless Leadership Act, which I’ve led with @CongressmanKean, @RepDebDingell, and @RepYvetteClarke. This bipartisan legislation will strengthen our global competitiveness, ensuring the US remains the leader in the development".

Later that same day, Walberg addressed concerns about antisemitism on college campuses: "The violence, fear, and alienation felt by Jewish students is, at its core, a result of administrators and their staff lacking the moral clarity to condemn and punish antisemitism that is creating a hostile environment for Jewish students on America’s campuses."

Walberg has served in Congress since replacing Mark Schauer in 2011. He previously spent more than fifteen years in the Michigan House of Representatives and holds a bachelor’s degree from Taylor University. Born in Chicago in 1951, Walberg currently resides in Tipton.
