State Senator Mark E. Huizenga | Michigan House Republicans
Senator Mark Huizenga of Michigan released a statement following a shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis that resulted in the deaths of at least two children and injuries to 17 others. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning.
In his statement, Huizenga said, “As parents and grandparents, my wife and I are profoundly saddened by the tragic and senseless shooting at a Minnesota school.
“This act of evil has horrifically taken the lives of at least two children and forever impacted the lives of an entire community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.”
The senator expressed condolences to those affected by the tragedy.
