City of Jackson issued the following announcement on July 22.
New murals that feature residents are brightening up Jackson's neighborhoods! Both murals by local artist Evan Struck were recently approved by the Jackson Public Arts Commission.
A new mural on the side of Jackson Michigan Giving Back to the Community on Clinton Road features its founder, Brenda Hughes. Another mural at VIRTUE Drums on W. Michigan Avenue shows local drummer Geno Parker.
It's great to see murals moving from downtown into our neighborhoods!
