City of Hillsdale issued the following announcement on Oct 14.
The City’s Department of Public Services will be closing a section of Waterworks Avenue leading to Sandy Beach, starting Monday, Oct. 18, until the final phase of Hillsdale Rotary's Sandy Beach Restoration Project is completed. We anticipate this temporary closure lasting two to three weeks.
Waterworks Park, Owen Memorial Park and the DNR boat launch near the Waterworks Park parking area will remain accessible to the public during this time.
