City of Adrian issued the following announcement on Oct 25.
The City of Adrian is currently seeking a qualified O & M Operator III employee for our Utilities Department. Candidate must obtain a CDL license (Class B with air brakes) within 90 days of hire and have the ability to run a backhoe and loader. Work assignments include operation and repair of the City of Adrian water and sewer systems, and the ability to assist with sewer trucks when necessary. Candidate must be able to work outdoors and must be able to do heavy lifting and shoveling. Familiarity with confined space entry rules and regulations, ability to make entries, and completion of associated training is required.
Candidate must have available means of contact in case of emergencies. Employee must obtain S-4 License within 3 test cycles as offered by the State of Michigan. Starting wage: $21.151 per hour. Applications may be obtained online at www.adriancity.com.
