Rep. Tim Walberg, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 5th district, has shared his views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Walberg, who succeeded Mark Schauer in 2011 and has been an active political figure since his tenure in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999, voiced concerns ranging from government efficiency to antisemitism.

On December 7, 2024, Rep. Walberg emphasized the importance of increasing government efficiency as a means to save taxpayer dollars and promote economic growth. He noted that job creators are hindered by excessive bureaucracy and advocated for reducing red tape to allow innovators to thrive again. "Increasing government efficiency will not only save taxpayer dollars but cutting red tape will help unleash economic growth."

The following day, December 8, he addressed the issue of antisemitism on college campuses, highlighting its persistence and impact on Jewish students. Rep. Walberg expressed determination that this situation cannot continue unchecked and mentioned that the Education and Workforce Committee would remain vigilant against such discrimination. "The rampant antisemitism on college campuses has not subsided, and many Jewish students are still being targeted."

On December 9, Rep. Walberg reiterated his stance against crime and antisemitism, asserting that such actions should not be tolerated and calling for perpetrators to face full legal consequences. "Crime and antisemitism like this cannot be tolerated."
