Rep. Tim Walberg, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th District since 2011, recently expressed concerns through a series of tweets about issues impacting American society and governance. Walberg, born in Chicago in 1951 and currently residing in Tipton, has been a vocal representative on various matters during his tenure.

On December 11, 2024, Rep. Walberg addressed the issue of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence on American universities. He stated that "The CCP’s constant focus on infiltrating universities across the country should alarm every American. They are seeking to undermine our American values and propagandize our students." He urged for action against what he termed as "nefarious forces" attempting to propagate CCP ideals among students.

Later that day, Walberg commented on the public sentiment from recent elections, stating that "The American people spoke loud and clear in November – they are tired of unaccountable bureaucrats and radical policies." He called upon the Senate to heed this message and promote an era characterized by choice, balance, and fairness.

In another tweet posted on December 11, 2024, Rep. Walberg praised a decision made by the Senate while criticizing Senate Leader Schumer's actions. He remarked that "The Senate made the right decision today." He further criticized Schumer for allegedly ignoring public mandate and attempting to expedite an appointment at the session's end.
