City of Portage issued the following announcement on July 21.
DID YOU KNOW? The South Westnedge Dog Park is an off-leash dog park centrally located at 9010 South Westnedge Avenue.
The dog park offers 2.5 acres of scenic property featuring separate fenced-in areas for smaller dogs (under 25 pounds) and larger dogs.
Each area features a walking trail, grassy areas for playtime, benches, shade trees, water, and waste stations.
The Dog Park is FREE for dogs at least 4 months old and their owners 16 years of age or older. The South Westnedge Dog Park is 100% ADA compliant with no breed restrictions.
