City of Fenton recently issued the following announcement.
On Wednesday, Nov. 24, work on fiber-optic cable will result in the closure of one lane of South Adelaide between West Shiawassee and West Elizabeth, from about 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m.
The work will be done along the boulevard in between the street and the sidewalk, as well as overhead. Traffic controls will be in place while the work is being done.
The contractor, Creek Enterprise, and the city scheduled the work on this day because there is no school for the Fenton School District on that day.
