City of Hillsdale issued the following announcement on Jan 8.
City staff would like to congratulate Hillsdale County Central Dispatch Director Doug Sanford on his retirement, and thank him for his many years of service to Hillsdale County and its included municipalities. Over the years, Sanford has been a great friend and asset to the City of Hillsdale, our first responders, and local school districts.
His professionalism and dedication to our greater community was second to none, and we wish him well in this next chapter of his life.
