Fenton Historical Society and The A. J. Phillips Museum issued the following announcement on Feb 9.
We love helping folks figure out the history of their homes! Recently, we helped the homeowner of 712 S. Adelaide with some house history research. We discovered that it was originally built by banker Job Cranson in 1872 and eventually owned by the Chapin family and the Peck family (of Rowena Theater fame).
Take a look at the snapshot from 1921, featuring brothers Henry and Addison Chapin, then compare it to the photo take in the same spot today!
